On 11/5, police arrested a 44 year-old office worker in Aichi prefecture for possession for child pornography and underage prostitution charges, using a Nintendo 3DS video game system to guide four elementary and middle school girls (aged 12~13 at the time) into sending him illicit photographs.
The suspect used the free software “Swapnote” on the Nintendo 3DS during November and December 2012, and received four photos from two girls (aged 11~12 at the time) from within the same prefecture. The suspect has admitted to the crimes.
