While the original Pokémon anime was fun, it wasn’t the same story as the Game Boy classic that many gamers fell in love with. After 18 years(!), Nintendo is about to fix that with an origin story. The video is filled with nostalgia and is a must-see for fans.
The Origin was revealed during the Pokemon Game Show taking place in Tokyo. Instead of Ash and Gary, the hero and rival cartoon watchers have become familiar with, The Origin will star Red and Green from Pocket Monsters Red and Green(localized as Pokemon Red and Blue).
The show will air in Japan on 10/2, and no plans for other countries have been announced as of yet. Keep those fingers crossed!
